She's got a Weber

Michelle has this post about Sen. Durbin's moronic remarks the other week...and his even more lame apology.  I have steered clear of this one, as he clearly is able to demonstrate what an idiot he is, on his own.  No help necessary.

As any good blogger, you have to read between the lines and click on those links!!  Michelle bought a Weber!  Atta girl.

Was away from the computer/TV this evening, assembling this Weber grill and breaking in a new Hi-5 CD with the kids.

Moving to China, there are some things you have to give up...and mine was this model; the Genesis Silver C.  Natural Gas...so all I had to do was walk outside, push a button and I was in business.  The side burner came in real handy for cooking up a vat of beans...or when I needed to fry up some of those little tiny sardines (ikan billis) for the top of my nasi lemak!  Better that I stink up the neighborhood, rather than our kitchen.

But, not to fear, I packed one of these beauties upon moving out here and it is still cooking strong.  The humidity plays havoc with the grates...but, it works.  There is nothing like a good old BBQ and a few brewskies to kill a weekend around here.

I am thinking some of those fish her daughter caught over the weekend will grill up real nice on that new Weber.
