Forgiveness is a beautiful thing...Steven Moore needs a little dose of it.
"It's difficult to see [Bertuzzi] able to play again when I still have a long way to go, and not just in hockey, but with my health," Moore is quoted as saying in Thursday's edition of the Denver Post.
Look...your situation has historical precidence. Take a look back to 1977 when Kermit Washington flattened Rudy Tomjanovich with a round house punch that crushed Rudy's face and sent Kermit to the sidelines for a year. Both men have gotten over it...although it may have taken too long.
Any bitterness Tomjanovich felt toward Washington evaporated over the years, even though for a long time Washington did not seek him out to apologize. Tomjanovich made that discovery when he was going through his (cancer) treatment program in 1998.
"He did say he was sorry, and that's great. But even if he didn't say he was sorry, I had to let it go for my own sake. Or else I'm playing God."
Take some advice from a very wise former NBA player and coach...forgive and move on.
