The Great One a great coach??

Looks like Gretzky is going to coach.  Hmmm.  If history shows us, very few superstar players make great coaches in any league.

NBA:  Bill Russell & Magic Johnson

MLB:  Ted Williams

Any others out there that I cannot think of? 

I dunno...I still have a hard time getting used to seeing number 99 on a Kings uniform while watching old highlites, nevertheless coaching the Puppies to more losing seasons.  But...as part owner of the team...it will put butts in the seats for fans to see him behind the bench.
