Well...tai-tai is putting on a pretty good display of endurance.
We met her at the airport at 10:30pm on Friday night. Tai-tai had a good trip, but didn't rest well on the plane. So, we headed home and hit the sack. Good night sleep for the most part...but, tai-tai awoke pretty early on Saturday morning.
Tai-tai had arranged a BBQ party with a bunch of friends the previous week. This was all set into motion well before our discovery of the house, which necessitated her trip back home to check it all out. So, full on BBQ party at the party house with entertaining, etc.
But first...we must start our day with expat sons football morning. He plays two games each Saturday. After the games, we headed home and tai-tai started preparing some of the dishes she was bringing to the BBQ. We set the party up, so we provided the BBQ's, the beers and a couple side dishes. It's up to everyone else to bring the dishes they would like to eat...or the animal they would like to burn over the fire! Once she completed her end of the bargain, plan was to take a little nap. She couldn't do it...nothing. No sleep.
Party went quite well...and tai-tai lasted the whole evening. We crawled back into our house around 12:30am and slept until 9am. We don't do that too often.
But tonight...the gas tank is starting to go empty. She's heading to bed early.
Limited blogging the next couple days. I've got some visitors from the USA in town and will have to do some entertaining of my own. Real busy with work recently...it's time to buckle down and get some sh*t done, I guess.
