In regards to the terror warning I told you about earlier this week...many parents are concerned with the well being of kids in their schools. None more than the parents of kids at the local American school.
So...the day after the warden notice is issued to residents of GZ...the American school called a meeting of all parents to discuss the notice and the ask questions of consular personnel. Uhhh...right. So...the notice says that American targets (US government installations, of which, a school can easily be mistaken for)and places where Americans congregate is in danger...and they call all the parents into the school for a meeting to discuss this.
Does anyone else see what is wrong with this picture?
Our school, by the way, sent us a notice detailing all the measures they have taken to ensure the safety of our children. Our school is run by an Aussie and a Brit. Organized and to the point...there is no need to discuss how we all 'feel' about what is happening. What is at stake is the safety of the children.
We picked the right school...
