A few articles have popped up on my favorite blogs that pertain to Chiner...have a look!
A map purporting to show Chiner discovered North and South America is being unveiled...
Zheng He was the most important naval explorer you've never heard of. In a series of explorations during the early 15th Century, Zheng and his "treasure fleet" traveled the South Pacific, the Indian Ocean, and as far West as the Horn of Africa.
And, apparently its a fake.

Apparently, Greely Motors is planning on selling product in the USA.
The glove box wouldn’t close. Corroding engine. Need to pass standard safety and emissions tests. Then there's all those patent infringements that Chinese businesses committed on foreign companies (seemingly ignored by their government.)
Good luck fellas. These cars are all over the place around here. Price? RMB30,000.00 That's about US $3500. And the cars are every bit worth the price. Remember...you get what you pay for.

Another land protest turns ugly in a neighboring city...details at ESWN.

Pub Phil is on about 'sweatshops' and Chiner. It's a fashionable thing to talk about and definitely something that happens. But...it also happens in Los Angeles, New York or Leicester! Try not to lump ALL companies in the same boat...because many are doing the right thing here.
I posted a couple of comments on the PP blog just commenting on how folks back home are quick to criticise the big sportswear companies when it's them who are responsible for improving working conditions and pay etc in Asia, but never mention the high street brands who's shoes they are likely to be wearing who don't care where the product is made as long as it is cheap.
