Google caves in to the pressure of the Chiner government and censors their content...but stands firms against the US government and won't hand over search data...can you say, hypocrite?
Here is some of the best of what others are saying...

- If you know the history of the Great Wall, it was highly successful in keeping out animals. But invading armies just bribed the guards and walked through the gate. I’m guessing that your smarter animals, say porpoises, could have found a way in also. But porpoises had no interest in conquering China, so we’ll never know. Something tells me that blocking all the unacceptable content on the Internet will be about as effective as the Great Wall.
- As usual, Rebecca has the most complete analysis.
Guess I'll be switching search engines soon...
UPDATE: Stephen over at Vodkapundit has a great piece about this whole thing...

Read the whole thing...and, I threw in a comment too...
UPDATE II: Pajamas Media has a great round-up of all the blog reaction to this...
