A quick update from NYC...
...has completed her chemo treastments and we have had the first work up for the radiation which begins next week. At this point I think it is 20 (doses) of radiation (about 1 month, as it is Monday thru Friday).
We did have another stay in hospital for 5 days. It started after receiving blood and platelets which initially went fine but when she had her temerature taken just before we left it had gone up to 38.1C (100.6F). The nurse waited 30 mins and checked again but still same, they took blood cultures etc and we were sent over to in-patient. She did not have another high temp while we were there but was suffering from a very painful throat (Due to chemo and very low blood counts) and was having a problem eating and drinking. So we would have had to come over to the hospital for pain control anyway. Everything is now on the way up, so things are improving.
We got to see Lion King at the theatre (Broadway) yesterday which was very good also we went to the US Open Tennis both for Arthur Ashe Kids day on teh Sat before play started and the 1st Wed for a great day of tennis.
