I've downloaded game 4 and 5. I haven't had the guts to sit down and watch game 4...but now with game 5 in the bag, I'll sit down and watch both.
I guess its sort of like having to slow down and take a look at the accident on the side of the road...a morbid curiosity into what happened to my team.
But, its been like that for me. Every team I choose is destined to break my heart. The last time the team I had a passion for won any sort of championship...1977 Portland Trailblazers. Oh, I followed the Washington Bullets during those years too and was excited when they won it all two years later...but, its been painful ever since. 1984, 1989 (Cubs lose in playoffs), 1990, 1992 (Blazers in NBA Finals, lost both), 1994 (Canucks in finals...lost), 1998 (Cubs lose again), 2003 (another Cubs heartbreak). Sandwiched in there was the 2001 Oregon Ducks with a number 2 finish in football for the year.
So, given the years of pain...these couple hours of watching the Canucks demise will be fairly easy.
